What kind of friend are you?

Today, while I was reading some amazing quotes from
Brian Tracy, I stumbled upon this one, it read:

“Think of yourself as a resource to your clients; an
advisor, counselor, mentor and friend.”

Very simple, yet powerful words; wouldn’t you agree?

In a world were customer care is non existent and
companies are scared to death of engaging in a
conversation with their prospects and clients.

Wouldn’t it be fantastic if more companies decided
to make the above quote their mantra?

Because, while everyone is frantically trying to figure out
how to use Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIN; for no other
reason than to make sales and extend ‘brand awareness’.

Wouldn’t it be good to hear about companies becoming
more of a resource to their prospects and clients;
instead of constantly pushing their products and
services on them.

Because the truth is; tools change but the need for a
reliable resource, mentor and friend, never will.
